In 2005, The Future Group completed an exploratory assessment mission
with Director & Head of Africa Initiatives Treva Braun. Reporting from the field, she identified an environment
which was highly succeptible to human trafficking and began preparations to assemble a full scale deployment. In 2006,
Treva led Jessica Singer and Meera Bai in the first research and pilot phases of The Future Group's Cameroon counter-trafficking
initiatives.

Since 2001, our deployment teams
have pursued a variety of initiatives such as prevention workshops, legal consultation, training, relationship building with
various actors, and policy development to combat child sex tourism in Southeast Asia. The Future Group is looking to return
within the next year and focus further on combating human trafficking.

TFG / LATIN AMERICA
In the summer of 2006, The Future Group completed an exploratory
assessment mission lead by Carmen Groza and Abdullah Saleh. Since then, we have been making strides towards better understanding
the current situation of sex trafficking in Latin America and the resources available for victims and countering the actions
of traffickers.

|
Combatting the demand-side of trafficking, or focussing efforts
towards ending the horrific abuse caused by child predators, is the aim of this initiative launched by The Future Group in
2001.
